Born into a family of storytellers, I was surrounded as a child by the stories told by my family's elders who were from the Middle East. I am now a parent myself and, being a believer in the motto that power is through the pen, it is now time for me to be the one to pass on the stories. A native of southeast Texas, I remain there with my husband and our five children.

Introducing the new member of the clan, Hopps. We are so excited about his acceptance into the family. And hoping other family members: Skeeter, Jacki, Gypsy, Teddy, and Dynamite will be as ecstatic.
