Friends,
Together, we have learned so much in 2016. For one, death is
an inevitable truth. (With the passing of so many well-known people, we realize
that we are all but travelling guests on this world). Second, that the world
can sometimes be a scary, unpredictable place. (We can only imagine what people
during WWI and WWII must have felt.)
But from all of this we must ascertain that bitter days will
pass. That despite our horrid outlook at times, life does continue for the better.
The reason, good always prevails over evil because so many hope for it. And
there is power in unity.
So, friends, may we all use our time wisely. Put our deep energy
together to work and pray for a better world, where love dominates over hate
and justice over injustice.
May you all have a prosperous and blessed New Year.
